Return & Refund Policy

At Scentstories, your satisfaction is very important to us. We take great care to deliver high-quality fragrances. Please review our return and refund guidelines before completing your purchase.

Return Policy

Non-Returnable Items

  • Perfumes, samples, and decants are non-returnable, non-refundable, and non-exchangeable due to hygiene and safety reasons.
  • Returns are only accepted if the product received is damaged or defective.

Conditions for Returns

  • All returns must be approved in advance with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA#).
  • Items must be unopened, unused, and in their original packaging.
  • Return requests must be initiated within 30 days of delivery.
  • Returns sent without prior approval (RMA#) may be refused.
  • Opened or used items cannot be returned due to health and hygiene standards.

Not Covered by Returns

  • Damage caused by negligence, improper use, or poor storage.
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable for returned, refused, unclaimed, or undeliverable packages.

How to Initiate a Return

  1. Email support@scentstories.in within the same day of delivery. Provide:
    • Order Number
    • Reason for return
    • Clear images/videos of the damage or defect
  2. Wait for our team to review your request and issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA#).
  3. Once approved, ship the product to:Scentstories

  4. After we receive and inspect the returned product, we will process your refund within 5 business days.

Note: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to an error on our part.

Refund Policy

Eligibility

Refunds are issued only for approved returns of damaged or defective items.

Perfumes, samples, and decants are non-refundable.

For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, valid bank details will be required for refund processing.

Processing Time

  • Refunds are processed within 5 business days after the returned item has been received and verified.
  • Prepaid orders will be refunded to the original payment method.

Deductions

  • A 2.5% deduction applies to all refunds to cover payment gateway processing fees.

Failed Online Transactions

  • Payments from failed transactions are automatically refunded to the original source within up to 7 working days.
  • We do not hold or manage funds from failed transactions.

Order Cancellations

  • Orders may be cancelled within 1 hour of placing the order.
  • To cancel, email support@scentstories.in with your Order ID and cancellation reason.
  • No cancellation fee applies.
